Where's the love indeed...

I mean it hasn't been the best week but it hasn't been the worst either. This is not to say that it has been smooth sailing and deafeningly normal. No No No... far from it infact. Many events have transpired in the last 10 days that I won't talk about here but just re-quote a cliche, "When it rains, it pours!" But it is definitely, a week to remember in my life.

Anyway, enough about that. If you haven't been living under a rock then you know the Democratic National Convention was this week. Having followed the convention as closely as possible during exam week I have to say it didn't help them as much as it should have. But, then again I think it just re-inforced certain things like security and defense on the part of the whole democratic party. I think they are not in negative territory anymore. But, definitely not in the positive either. They are right on the knife-edge.

They have a great chance to drive home the point htat democrats are not wimps when it comes to defense. They must forcefully espouse new ideas and new innovations in policy. This is the only way the party will survive. It needs to grow and define itself every election. I have always been of the opinion that the candidate who improvises and comes out swinging is always going to be the winner. In this election neither of these guys have done anything to inspire such innovation. C'mon guys, let's not be on either sides so politically. First off, stop the negative ads and attacks. Let's focus on policy and issues. Stop this shit!! Let me hear some real moves on both sides.

Though I support Kerry, I will say that President can make a strong case and he could get my vote (if I had any rights...!) Anyway, word to Mr. President. Stop attacking Kerry and extoll your own virtues and achievements. They can carry you through and through. As for Sen. Kerry. Run a positive campaign and show us where and exactly how you can do better than the President.

Here's hoping for the best.
