Roger Federer has served notice

Injury free Federer delivers warning

Mr. Roger Federer has served notice that he is back and he's better than ever. The foot injury that cost him the Master's Cup last year is a thing of the past and he is back with his best form, his forehands and his aces. It's all back, baby! If there is one thing that I enjoy more than watching test match cricket is Roger Federer playing his game on his terms. What a player. He has got it all and he understands the tempo of the game better than anybody in world tennis right now. To say that he is a great player is an understatement. I never thought that I would live to see Sampras's record of 7 Wimbledon titles broken but that record is in jeopardy. Sure it'll be a while before that's broken but heck now we know it's possible and we have a player who can do it.

Can't wait for the Australian Open to get started! I was just speaking with a friend of mine and we just happened to talk about all the sports we are following and we realized that if you are into sports you will have something to watch almost 365 days a year. Something big is happenning around the world at any given time of the year. I mean check this out just for the months of January - March:

Sport Event Date
Cricket India v Pakistan (test series) Jan 13 - Feb 2
Tennis Australian Open Jan 16 - Jan 29
American Football NFL Playoffs (incl. Superbowl) Jan 7 - Feb 5
Motor Racing Formula 1 Season 2006 Mar 12 - Oct 22
Basketball NBA Playoffs
Soccer Champions League Playoffs Feb 21 - May 17

With all this going on how can anyone be bored, eh?
